Laura did an amazing job
We have SO many favorite photos to choose from. She provided detailed information before the shoot to prepare us and gave great direction during. I was particularly impressed with how she worked with our 5 and 4-year-old kids, managing to engage them in fun ways while directing them in their interactions with our newborn resulting in some fantastic photos. We are so grateful for the photos Laura took and I know we will treasure them forever. I only wish we'd had the opportunity to work with Laura when our first two kids were newborns!

Special way with newborns
Laura captured our babyβs arrival beautifully with in-home maternity and newborn sessions. She has an eye for capturing such sweet moments with just the right lighting and backdrops. We were a tad nervous going into the sessions since these can be very personal and vulnerable photos, but Laura made everything completely comfortable. Laura has a special way with newborns. She was incredibly gentle and patient with our 10-day-old daughter. Weβre thrilled with the photos and will love them forever.

Now itβs January. As I write this my six-week-old is asleep on my chest and my days are measured in a cycle of naps and feeds. Time feels both endless and impossibly fast β¨
My calendar is filling for spring, but today Iβll sit right here, soaking in my baby boy π because tomorrow heβll be a little bigger, and this moment will already belong to the past. Time is precious like that π«

Happy New Year β¨ Welcoming 2026 and celebrating one month with our sweet Hayes π€
Personally 2025 was a crazy year for our family. It simultaneously held loss, change and great joy. We had to say goodbye to my mother-in-law and our family dog π We also moved into our forever home, and ended the year welcoming the most special gift, our third baby π₯°
Hoping 2026 is quieter on the home front because weβre laying the foundation for something BIG coming to PLS Photography! Stay tuned π
