I’m often asked what the best age is for heirloom portraits, but there really isn’t one answer. Anytime from when your child is able to sit up unassisted (typically 6-9 months) up until 6-7 years old is a great time!
Some families choose to photograph their children’s heirloom portraits when they hit a certain age, where as others photographer them all at the same time at their various ages. Still others choose to get heirlooms done on an annual basis to see how much they have grown each year!
Whatever you do don’t think it’s too late, these precious portraits will be treasures to you one day no matter the age you have them done 🤍
