Maternity photography is a beautiful gift for you to share with your future child.
It captures the time when you were awaiting their arrival with great anticipation. Pregnancy is a magical season where your body is doing something truly incredible and it should be preserved in the only way it can be, through photography.
As your DC Maternity Photographer I'll schedule your maternity sessions for between 28-34 weeks, when your bump has popped, but you are still comfortable enough to enjoy the session. Maternity sessions are 1 hour in length and can take place in-studio or outdoors. Hair and makeup is included with your session to help you glow and feel absolutely beautiful! You will also have access to my studio wardrobe full of gorgeous maternity dresses.

HOW IT WORKS
As your DC Maternity Photographer my careful attention to detail from booking to the delivery of your gallery makes your portrait session a relaxed, enjoyable experience. As a mom-to-be you have enough to worry about. My goal is to make sure that all of your questions are answered and all of the details are ironed out, so you can look forward to your session with excited anticipation.
Once you book your session, we will schedule your virtual planning call. We will hop on zoom to discuss your vision for your session. We will decide things like when and where the session will take place and address any questions or concerns you may have. Then comes the fun part! We will style your session using my studio wardrobe for you and a style board for the rest of your family. All the work is done for you, you will have the session of your dreams and all that's left for you to do is get glammed up and enjoy!
During your session I will use a series of gentle guided poses and relaxed direction. This will allow for natural connection and interaction. Your partner and any other immediate family are encouraged to participate and the focus will be on your
growing bump!
Sessions are reserved with a $395 non-refundable creative fee. The creative fee covers the session time, the virtual planning appointment and access to my studio wardrobe. Digital files and artwork are sold separately at your
gallery reveal ordering appointment!
I also offer a Bump-to-Baby Package and a Baby's First Year Membership.

When should I reach out to book MY DC Maternity photographer?
The best time to reach out is at the beginning of your second trimester to give us ample planning time.
at what point in my pregnancy should we have the maternity session?
The ideal window is between 28-34 weeks pregnant. At that point you will have a noticeable bump, but you won't be too uncomfortable to enjoy your session.
What should i wear?
I have a client closet filled with beautiful options that are perfect for highlighting your growing bump! We will have a virtual styling appointment so you can pick a dress and we can talk about what everyone else participating in the session should wear to compliment you!
where should we have the session?
This is really up to you! We can do the session in my studio, in your home or outdoors. Depending on the season I can recommend locations that would work best for your session!
